RE: AOL - didn't order DSL - $ 99 charged to account without authorization I have had several problems with AOL, starting with DSL I have never ordered DSL. I had contacted AOL March 2003 and contacted DSL stated I never ordered it. I am now getting 6 months of free service. On 6/12/03 $99.00 was again taken out of my account without my authorization. I tried several times to speak with someone at AOL/DSL to have my money returned. To this date still not happened. On July 11, 2003 $32.20 charge from Sports Illustrated twas taken out of my account. I called Sports Illustrated they stated, shows AOL with my screen name came from a pop up. I never click on the pop ups and due to this charge I was charged $32.00 INS fund fee. I am very unhappy with AOL and now I am seeeking legal advice as no one has called me back I have no other choice but seek legal help. I was reading the July 2003 complaints and another person had same problems with AOL going into your account and taking money out. I think there should be some kind of security with this and also the banks should have a secutity code or something. Maybe I will have to contact the news so maybe I can help someone else who might be going through the same thing, I would appreicate a response from someone Thank You From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Monday, 14-Jul-03 00:00:00 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
