Blue Green Travel, Boca Raton, FL - was told had won trip - then company asked for credit card number

RE: Blue Green Travel, Boca Raton, FL - was told had won trip - then company asked for credit card number On July 7th I received a phone call from Blue Green Travel out of Boca Raton FL. The girl on the phone told me to sit down because I had won a prize. I could choose between a trip to Orlando Fl or Las Vegas NV. As she kept reading her card that was in front of her she then got to the part about where she needed my credit card to pay the $169.00 fee. This fee covered my taxes.

When I told her I Was not going to giver her credit card over the phone, She told me” Hold on I ‘m not finished.” When she finally finished she asked for the number again. I told her again I Was not giving the number to her. She then went and got her manager. He wanted to know how I was going to pay for the taxes. I told him I would pay them when I got to the Resort. He told me next if I Could not give a credit card number they would have to give the Grand Prize to someone else and hung up on me. I looked on my caller ID and saw that the number for them came up. I called back and asked to speak to the manager. After my third try to I got to talk to him, I asked why he was giving away trips and charging people. His response was “No one said I had won anything he was just trying to sell vacation packages”. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He also told me the same story. He also said that the girl that told me I had won a grand prize would be fired. I suggested to fire her manager for giving her the idea. The moral of the story, don’t do business with Blue Green Corp.
