Complaint:

On May 16, 2003 I purchased a CD-R media at Best Buy #456, located at Iselin, NJ. I received two rebates forms, one from Best Buy for $6.00 and another from Maxell for $15.00. On April 14, 2003 I filled out the two rebate forms and attached a letter let them know that both were claiming the same original bar code. I attached the original in the Maxell rebate form and submitted a copy to Best Buy. Best Buy sent me already the $6.00 rebate. On May 16, 2003 I received a post card from Maxell let me know that my rebate form was denied because a missing original bar code. On May 29, 2003 I resubmitted the forms again with a letter explaining that the rebate form was filled out properly but so far I haven't heard anything from Maxell. My sister in law bought the same day the same item and I helped her to filled out her rebate forms the same way I did mine. She got her rebate from Maxell without any problem. Marcos Achamizo
