RE: Pepperidge Farm Light 7 Grain Bread - holes in bread make it difficult to prepare sandwiches

I like Pepperidge Farm Light 7 Grain Bread. This bread began (about 2 years ago) to have holes in it that made it very unpleasant to use for sandwiches since the mayo, mustard, or whatever, would come through the holes and get all over your hands. I called them at that time and complained.

They sent me a couple of coupons. I had no more bread with holes for a while. Then it began to happen again. The holes were back. I looked on the bread packaging for the toll-free number again but there was no number.

I went online looking for Pepperidge Farm and found that Pepperidge Farm is on the Campbell's Soup site. I assume that Campbell's now owns Pepperidge Farm. I emailed them concerning the holes in the bread and received a response, automatically generated, saying I would hear from them within 3 business days. This was about 3 months ago.

I heard nothing from them, so I emailed them again about a month ago. I got the same automatically generated response saying I would hear from them in 3 business days. Still, as of today (July 26), I have NOT received any response from them.

I suppose the thing I should do is switch breads, but this particular bread is what I really like. I have tried others but always go back to the Pepperidge Farm Light 7 Grain with the holes. I suppose that is what they would be hoping I would do. I think it is really bad when these big companies cannot respond to consumers.
