To Whom it May Concern.

 

I purchased a nokia tracfone and a tracfone card for 60min cost for both 111.28- The purpose for this purchase was for my vacation - as a single mom - I thought it would be good to have if anything happened while traveling-

 

Well after purchase I called Nokia tracfone to help activate the phone -I followed all instruction in the box and from the techs on 1-800-867-7183- ( which everytime I called they made me feel like they did not want to help) -after 24 hours the phone still was not activated - I tried calling before leaving but was left on hold for a very long time.

 

So I went on vacation without a cell phone - upon returning the phone still did not work - after reaching another tech who tried to help - said I would have to wait another two days before I could use the phone - so I told the tech I was returning the phone to the store where I purchased it because after spending all that money and it still not working after 5 day - was really not fair -

 

Now here comes the problem ! Returning the phone was no problem - but the tracfone pre paid phone card for 24.99 plus tax is a problem - Target store told me to call tracfone - again dealing with the a very rude person who said he was a suppervisor -name Steve said - I could not be refunded for the card- even though I was informed by the first tech that I should add the card -

 

I feel I should be refunded for the card since nokia tracfone tech support - inproperly handled the activation of this phone -and Steve refused to tell me who I should contact with this problem -stating unfortunately it would have to go through him and would not give me any other information. Now where do I turn - I feel I have been cheated and I'am very upset.
