RE: Quicken 2002 Deluxe - not worth the upgrade from Quicken 2000 - program has bugs I have been a Quicken user for 11 years. I use almost all of the features of Quicken, such as on-line banking. Recently, I upgraded from Quicken 2000 to 2002. The portfolio view for securities displays the number of shares as zero, even though the register and detail view clearly shows the correct number of shares and total market value. Sometimes the program will generate errors and is shutdown by Windows 2000.

I never had any problems with Quicken 2000. Of course Intuit does not support any of their products unless you pay for it. It does not matter if the problem is a bug in their program. If you want a refund (as it states you are entitled to on the box) good luck! You cannot even download any return of product forms from their website. These issues are completely ignored by Intuit.

No software company should be allowed to sell software and not support it. In my opinion, there are not enough new features in Quicken 2002 to justify an upgrade, and the program has bugs.
