RE: eBay.com - confused about meaning of "Reserve" - want e-mailed copy of eBay policy

Hello, I went to the E-Bay site and saw a statue of The Infant of Prague that was being offered. The time of the sale passed and the product did not "meet its reserve" and I am now curious about what happens to that product. Is it no longer for sale, can someone still make an offer to try and meet the reserve or negotiate with the seller? I have never purchased from E-bay before and and totally "wet-behind-the-ears" but I am interested in this piece and would consider attempting a purchase if that is still available. Additionally, is it possible to have E-Bay mail a copy of it's Policy out rather than so that I could have an actual copy on hand and not just in the computer. I have not signed up because It is too much for me to digest while sitting here just reading it. I would like something tangible. Thank you for any help you can give me and if you do have copies of policy to mail, please let me know and I will forward my address, city, state and zip code Thank you for your attention to this request. Sincerely, Kathy
