Thank You for your reply. I apologize for the Delay. All My Sons Moving & Storage of Sacramento 545 Jefferson Blvd. Suite 8 West Sacramento Ca 95605 (916) 991-6000. Also please note as of today I have not received my monthly Statement. I was told they go out on the 15th of the Month. I'll keep you posted.
Sincerely,
Davina Mendez
On June 24, 2002 I contacted All my sons moving and storage. I had a emergency move out situation. I was quoted $85. per Hour for the truck and 2 Men. The move was scheduled for June 26, 2002 @8:00-9:00 am. The movers arrived @ 8:15am. They loaded up the truck.
They had to Inventory all my belongings a time consuming task.. a total of 4 hours. ok. then the drive one hour Puc Regulated charged for 2 hours. (no Problem). I then waited a half an hour (time I don't think I should have to pay for. (but thats besides the point.) After all my Belonging were loaded up on the truck. He tells me the cost is $1370. I said what I was quoted $85.00 per Hour. and $45. for storage when I asked are there any other hidden charges the reply was no.
Then they claim it takes 4 hours to unload the truck. I replied no way the movers were sitting around why you were doing the inventory. I then signed the written estimate and decided to settle the cost issue later. On June 26, 2002 I called the Moving Company stating I needed my paperwork because there Contractor Ron Esta did Not give me any papers stating he did not know which copy to Give me. I called numerous times asking for my paperwork.
They are in the mail. I'll send them again. (bad attitude) in the mean time I'm freaking out. Finally On July 8, 2002 I go over to the warehouse. Not an easy task as I Do not have Transportation. In they warehouse is my Sofa. I could not Believe it. This company is a nightmare.
They are also trying to hit my up with a $255. service charge for moving my stuff into storage on top of the Hourly rate. I feel the move should cost no more than the 8 hours @ $85. per Hour.= $680. and the 1st months storage of $135.00 for a total cost of $815.00 . Just wanted everyone to know Do Not Trust this Company.

Are you gonna buy a car sight unseen without kicking the tires and/or taking it for a test drive? you probably low-balled how much stuff you had which is why you got the estimate you did.....have some accountability for what you may have done wrong in the pre-move experience. i have moved with multiple moving companies in my day and have gotten screwed a couple of times. kinda learned the hard way. also check out www.protectyourmove.gov as well. great website! i have moved with ALL MY SONS 3 times and it has been a seamless transition every time due to proper planning and pre-emptive problem solving. hope your next move goes better for you......good luck.
