Palm.com - delayed delivery of order of Palm 515 - told couldn't cancel order
Complaints.com received the following consumer message on July 22, 2002:

I initially placed an order for a Palm 515 on palm.com on 7/15/02. There was a free overnight delivery offered. No delivery was made on 7/16 or 7/17. When I checked the order status on the web, it showed a hold on the order due to a back order on the "free" travel charger.
This order was on hold despite the stated Palm policy that all partial orders would be sent without delay with a subsequent delivery of the back ordered items. Upon calling the toll free Palm number, I was promised that the Palm 515 would be delivered on 7/18. No such delivery was made.
I called again on 7/22 and was informed by "Shannon?" that the order had not been sent. She did promise that the order would be delivered on 7/23. Despite the fact that the order had not been sent yet, I was informed that I could not cancel this order and would have to refuse delivery. Do you know where I can order a Sony Clie?
