Complaints.com received the following consumer message on July 22, 2002:

RE: Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Store, Cherry Hill, NJ - "all sales are final" is not shown on front of receipt, only middle and blue receipts My husband and I purchased furniture from Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Store in Cherry Hill NJ. The salesman had my husband sign the receipt for the total amount of the sale since we were opening one of their credit cards in order to receive 5% discount on our purchase.

 

NO where on the front of this receipt does it state all sales final until the salesman gives you the middle copy and then on the back of the blue copy you get after you have already signed it says all sales final no refund, exchange or modification.

 

Everyone works hard for their money and where do they get the right to set these type of standards without posting this in clear view.

 

I can tell you that if it was posted at front door where it should be so the consumer is aware of their policy I would have walked right back out the door.

 

I'm not happy with company and the fact that they now have my hard earned money. I think they should be boycotted with these sales ehtics.
