RE: AOL service - pay $ 24 per month - most days it takes 10 - 25 minutes to logon - frustrated consumer We have your service and for almost $24. a month I would think I would be able to get on line whenever I wanted to. Most days it take anywere from 10 to 25 miniutes to get on. Several times I have waited 20 minutes or so to get on only to hear AOL say "good by."
Then I don't get to use the service at all, because I have other things I have to do and cannot waste this much time. I am an interrupter for hearing impaired students and receive e-mails from them to keep in touch, hearing on the phone is difficult for them.
Some days I just want to get on line to answer my e-mails but by the time it comes on, if it comes on, I am so fed up, I just give up. It seem I only get fast service on or before 7 AM on a Sunday morning.
Is this what it will be like? I think I should be able to to get online in a more reasonable time and stay on line until I want to get off, not AOL cutting me off.
Please let me know if this is the kind of service I can except from now on for if it is, I will find another carrier
Thank you Kathy Ahern (edkahern@.com)
