RE: Ticketmaster - purchased tickets online - didn't receive tickets so couldn't attend concert - want refund On Decembr 13, 2001 I purchased (online) 2 tickets to a Johnny Mathis Concert to be held at Westbury Music Fair scheduled for March 9, 2002. I received a tickect confirmation in the mail. As the concert date approached, I realized that I had not received my tickets. I called Ticketmaster and was told that they had mailed the tickets in December.

Since I had not received them, I was advised that I would have to go to the will call window the night of the concert. Two days before the concert date, I received an e-mail stating that the concert was postponed due to illness. I was later e-mailed the rescheduled date on June 21.

I could not attend the concert on this date and asked for a refund. I spent a total of $112.70 for two tickets.

I was told that since I did not have tickets to return for a refund, I would have to wait until the concert was over to be sure that the tickets were not used. Well, here it is, Juy 17. After several e-mails to ticketmaster, this problem has not been resolved. Their response after each of my e-mails is "I should receive a reply within the next 72 hours". I have paid for these tickets and would like to have the price of the at least the tickets ($86.00) refunded.

Chances are you didn't get your refund..since the show was rescheduled and you couldn't make it to the new date they are no longer obligated to refund your money...if however the show had gone on as scheduled and you didn't get your tickets and they could prove it you would have been given a refund!
