Sony VAIO computer purchase at Circuit City - didn't receive $ 20 rebate from Sony

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on July 15, 2002:

Through Circuit City, I purchased the SONY VAIO computer system and their 560x Handycam. CC gave me extra receipts & the rebates for everything (HP Printer also).

I received the rebates through CC & HP. SONY, I contacted before I sent them, told them what I had in rebates & expressed the fact that I of course had 2 upc symbols.

They make copies & tell us where you sent originals. I did everything they said. Now they tell me to try & fax copies again to these fax numbers, which are BUSY.

This purchase was in April with no luck on getting but 1 rebate...all of $20. I won't buy from them again!!!
