Deficiency in service due to faulty telephone instrument at my residence, phone no. 304048.

To, Pramod Majahan, Tele Communication Minister New Delhi. Sub: Deficiency in service due to faulty telephone instrument at my residence, phone no. 304048. Respected sir, Enclosed please find herewith a copy of my complaint dt 10/7/02 to GM/BSNL/Agra, regarding deficiency in service on the part of BSNL. The case in nutshell is that on the installation of telephone no. 304048 the telephone instrument provided by the dept. was faulty and didnt give efficient service.
After a hot chase at all level I personally met to GM/BSNL /Agra on 10/7/02 with the complaint who advised me to change the telephone instrument by one manufactured by reliance industry which implies that the instrument provided by the dept. is substandard and has been admitted by the GM/BSNL/Agra.
When I insisted that the change of instrument at the cost of BSNL he gave some instruction to SDO Mr. Khurana but the fault has still continued. You are therefore requested to get the case investigated as it smacks of unfair practice and get my grievance resolved with the instruction to BSNL/Agra not to charge the rental till efficient service is restored and refund the rentals so far paid by me. To, The General Manager, BSNL, AGRA. Sub : Deficiency in service due to faulty telephone instrument installed at my residence telephone no. 304048 . Respected Sir; The subject telephone was installed at my residence on 01/04/2001 but as the instrument was faulty. I submitted a complain on 20/04/2001 regarding its rectification. When the repeated complained did not yield any result. I personally contacted to SDO/tele.
Mr. Khurana who advised me that indicator of the instrument is defective and is require to be changed for which I could write to G.M . Accordingly the same was done, But still the defects is not being rectified and my telephone is in operative since 01/04/2001 to till date. During my personal chasing one commercial officer Mr. Dinesh Kumar misbehaved me and told that my complained will not be look into, hence this representation.
You are therefore requested to get my telephone rectified and ware of the rentals from the date of installation to the date of date.
