G.P.S. computer services LTD, Vermilion, OH - paid for laptop via PayPal - didn't receive computer

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on July 14, 2002:

In November of 2001. I was in the market for a lap top computer. I found A web site through some coworkers of mine. They had ordered HP laptops through this company, and had received them for some very great prices. When I accessed the site, I was amazed at the pricing.

So, I confirmed this with the people I worked with to see if it was what I was seeing. They confirmed the purchase and the pricing. So, I put in an order through pay pal to receive an IBM Think pad a22m.

Through al of this time, I have sent a number of e-mails to con firm my order, and I keep getting excuse after excuse as to why I have not received my order. I contacted paypal in January of this year, and they told me that It was too late to get a refund from them. I contacted A.G. of Ohio, since the company is located in vermilion Ohio. And apparently there was a lawsuit on them, but, I can never find out whether there was a judgment, and what it was.

All I know is that there is a law suit out. I registered with A.G. of Ohio, and I have received nothing from them. Is there any one that can help me from getting publicly humiliated by this Internet fraud? The company is G.P.S. computer services LTD. I even have their IM posted on my buddies list, so I see them on line every day, and every day I see just how I've been taken by them.

If only I could get my laptop that was promised to me by a fair agreement of my purchase of monies given in good faith.
