Sears Kenmore refrigerator - 5 years old - outside is pitting and rusting

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on July 14, 2002:

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator from Sears 5 years ago,The outside of it is pitting and rusting, I called Sears and tried to explain that I thought the outside surface was defective, They said they would send a repairman out to look at it but it would cost me service call!!!

They then were going to switch me over to a Technician and in the process of that , of course the line went dead.I think this product is defective and that they should take a look at it free of charge.
