Best Western, Lake Orion, MI - noisy during the night, no local Detroit telephone books - unhappy stay

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on July 9, 2002:

RE: Best Western, Lake Orion, MI - noisy during the night, no local Detroit telephone books - unhappy stay

In April we stayed at the Best Western Motel in Lake Orion Mich. All night long the doors slamed and we got no sleep.

They had no local telephone books for the Detroit area,and the pool was much deeper than posted. We were attending an event at the Pontiac Silver Dome and had drove in from Pa.

I E Mailed the chain and was told that we could have a complimentarty night there but this was a one time event and have no plans of going back there. I replied to them that if they wanted I would be happy to stay at another of their Motels but never heard back.

The night there was less then desireable and I was very diappointed with the place and the responce I got from them
