I took my son to the new Walmart store located on M-59 in Chesterfield Michigan on June 22, 2002 (Saturday) I have never used them before and I noticed in their ad that appointments are not necessary. When we arrived we were met by an older woman who said, "Do you have an appointment?" (keep in mind that there was no one siiting there waiting)
I said, " No but I noticed your ad said appointments not necessary", to which she replied "My beauty shop says that to but I would never just show up there."
To make a long story short, she was the worst person I have ever dealt with to try to take a childs picture. My son is two and was scared, she stood there and tried nothing to try and make him laugh. I went to the same Walmart store today, 9/3/08 about 5pm, looking for canning jars. When I couldn't find them, or anyone to help me, I decided to go to the customer service desk. Looking at that outrageous line which I would have stood in for at least 20 minutes, I decided to just check out with the few items I had. Another mistake. The so called speedy line took me 20 minutes to get through anyway. I have an idea. Maybe they could just skip the door greeters, and put them out on the floor to help customers, or maybe at the checkouts. I will never go there again either.
