Fifth Third Bank - 5/3 Bank - trouble removing lien on boat trailer paid off over one year ago

Fifth Third Bank holds a lien on a boat trailer we paid off over a year ago. After 2 months of inquiry, we still do not have a clear title. My husband and I have made multiple long distance and toll free calls to little avail. It took about two weeks to get a clear title on the boat, but not the trailer.

Today, after 4 calls, I thought it was finally over. 5/3 actually called me. They said all I had to do was fax the title. I was ecstatic until I found out the fax number did not work. When I called back to get a new number, I got voice mail.

I have gone through this bank for several installment loans and leases, but never again.
