Empire carpet - trouble with window treatment order and customer service
Complaints.com received the following consumer message on July 9, 2002:

We recently bought a house and we called Empire carpet to install to window treatments in our house. The salesman who came to our house was ok ok but was very rude at some time.
We were interested in it because the payments were differed by 1 year. We were supposed to get all our window treatments by within 12 working days from the day we sign our agreement, but we still do not have blinds. (only verticals were installed).
We has to call them to find out what was wrong and then they say that they need some clarification on order we placed. We clarified it but still do not have our blinds. We left many messages for the salesman but he was not even courteous to return the call.
They have the worst customer service ever, in my opinion. I will never advice anyone to buy window treatments from them. After all this it was not even cheap. It cost us more than 5000$. I really curse the day I called empire.
