Date: Tuesday, July 24, 2001 11:13 AM IN RESPONSE TO MR. REESE'S COMPLAINT, WE WISH TO STATE THAT MR. REESE WAS PROVIDED WITH A COPY OF OUR TICKET POLICY REGARDING LUGGAGE AND EQUIPMENT AT TIME OF EMBARKATION AND ANOTHER COPY WAS FURNISHED AFTER THE COMPLAINT WAS RECEIVED. AT THE SAME TIME, OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT REITERATED THE POLICY BY PHONE. DISCOVERY FEELS BADLY ABOUT MR. REESE'S LOSS BUT DOES NOT BELIEVE IT SHOULD TREAT THIS PASSENGER ANY DIFFERENTLY THAN ANY OTHER WHEN THE POLICY IS ABUNDANTLY CLEAR AND IS FURNISHED TO EACH PASSENGER. IN HIS INITIAL CORRESPONDENCE MR. REESE DID STATE HOWEVER THAT HE HAD A PLEASANT CRUISE EXPERIENCE.
