Date: Saturday, July 21, 2001 03:46 PM About three weeks ago I purchased 11 cans of your "StarKist" blue label, chunk style tuna (proof of purchase label #08024507). When I opened it today I did not find chunk style as I have always been accustomed to finding instead I found what looked like a chopped up grated soft mess and there was no chunk at all only loose bits of tuna.

I normally purchase Star Kist Chunk Light Tuna in vegetable oil because it should have the taste of Tuna in the past. Opening a 12 ounce can at noon today for tuna sandwiches was a repulsive experience due to the foul fishy taste. Fishy, mushy and certainly not my kind of tuna. UPC Code: o 803090 6

I buy the white abacore and Starkist Solid White Abacore is dark and fishy smelling. It's much like what you used to get when you bought the plain tuna but now the plain tuna is "soup" and the abacore is almost all dark meat. Sad
