Food & Groceries, StarKist tuna poor quality tuna
Food- Groceries Food - Groceries, General From: Date: Saturday, July 21, 2001 03:46 PM About three weeks ago I purchased 11 cans of your "StarKist" blue label, chunk style tuna (proof of purchase label #08024507). When I opened it today I did not find chunk style as I have always been accustomed to finding instead I found what looked like a chopped up grated soft mess and there was no chunk at all only loose bits of tuna. Opening a 12 ounce can at noon today for tuna sandwiches was a repulsive experience due to the foul fishy taste. Fishy, mushy and certainly not my kind of tuna. UPC Code: o 803090 6 Ervin J. It's much like what you used to get when you bought the plain tuna but now the plain tuna is "soup" and the abacore is almost all dark meat.
