Telephone Service, Mc Leod USA trouble fixing phone outage

I have been without telephone service (630-778-7305) since 6-29-01. I have been trying to reach someone at Mc Leod since 6-29-01 and finally on 7-11-01 was able to get through to a representative of Mc Leod and notify them of my phone outage. On 7-13-01 Ameritech advised me that their line to my phone was in service (I guess Mc Leod rents lines from Ameritech??). My phone was still not working and is not in service. I called Mc Leod on 7-16-01 and spoke with a representative who advised me that they needed to get in contact with one of their repair representatives and would call me back, to date no one has called me back and I still have no phone service. I called Ameritech to have my phone service changed back to Ameritech and they advised it would take about 6 - 8 weeks to turnover because that is how long it will take them to get Mc Leod to respond. I have lost approximately $700.00 in business per week because of this outage (this is the third outage I have experienced since using Mc Leod). I want my service back up and to be reimbursed for my lost business in full!!!!! Also, I am writing letters to all the executives at Mc Leod in regards to this issue and I also emailed Channel 5 Consumer Target Report in regards to the above problem.
