When reaching my hotel in the Bahamas I found that my digital camera had been severely damaged while it was checked in baggage on the ship.

The camera was cracked and rendered useless. When I contacted the company I was given the standard response that "we will not be held liable...etc...etc" The person I spoke to was Jeanette Goolsby, she was of no assistance and she said that she would have her supervisor contact me. I was never contacted and all emails and phone calls after that were ignored.

I would just like everyone who plans to cruise with Discovery Cruise Lines out of Ft. Lauderdale to know that if you should have any problems with anything, you may be ignored the same as I was. On top of this, I could count on one hand the number of crew members who were actually courteous and without negative attitude.

I will never cruise with this company again and I strongly recommend that anyone traveling to the Bahamas find another method of getting there.
