service, I also had service to my light truck(Dodge Dakota) in March. About 700 Miles

from my next service I started to hear noises not noticed before so I took my truck

to Ocean Auto in Jacksonville Bch Fl to have it checked, needless to say I wasn't

ready for what they were about to tell me.

My Transmission was Dry No Fluid so I returned to the Penske Auto Center in Neptune Bch were I had it serviced and spoke with the manager. I advised him what my problem was and he stated WE DO NOT CHECK MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS only automatic. On both of my trips to the Penske

Service Center I was never advised that they serviced only automatic transmissions, the manager then handed me a leaflet from his counter display which I had not been shown at any time and it was printed on the leaflet Service Automatic Transmissions. I then went home and got on the internet to get there Customer Service

Number, while on there web sight I noticed under Preventive Maintenance Crew

Chief Full Service Oil Change ( Inspect & Fill Transmission/transaxle Fluid )

I called the Customer service number and talked to Tammy who then advised me

she would have to talk to the Dist Mgr Bob Kosceski. When she returned my

call a few days later she told me Mr Kosceski offered to pay half of the

repair bill because I had a leak in in the transmission. Hearing this I

called Ocean Auto who told me there was a leak but it was so small it would take MONTHS to Drain the transmission. I than called Penske back and related that information to them and they still said they

would just pay half. This is not right or anyway or form Customer Service, they admitted there was

a conflict with there store leaflet and what is posted on there web sight,

Had they even checked at all or advised me that they did not check or service

Manual Transmissions I would not be left with a Useless Truck That I can't

even sell. Thanks for letting me VENT
