I had purchased an airline ticket from expedia to be used this past december but was unable to. I was thus hoping to use the money I had already paid expedia as credit towards the purchase of another airline ticket to be used in the near future.

 

However, after being on the phone for 30-35 minutes I was told that I could not apply my previous balance towards the purchase of another airline ticket and that I would have to get in touch with the airline directly to see if they could help me out. Its not the last part that bothers me but the wasted time and the initial perception that all was going to go well.

 

If you must deal with expedia regarding such matter, take it from me: DONT! Southwest.com is so much easier to deal with because I've had no such trouble in the past regarding this very same issue.
