From: Email User RE: Greyhound Bus - Dallas to Memphis - rude, poor service from bus driver My Daughter-In-Law to be just visited my son's graduation at Lackland AFB in Texas. We traveled from Cleveland to Texas by Greyhound. On schedule 1535 01 Jan 03 Memphis to Dallas then returning on 06 Jan 03 1408 Dallas to Memphis we had the same driver who was extremely rude. If he doesn't like dealing with the public, why is he allowed to continue to carry passengers. I know there were many people on the bus who said they were going to complain. He told us that he didn't care if we rode or not, if we were noisy he would throw all of us off the bus.

He said he would get paid if no one was on the bus. It doesn't matter how many are riding he will still get paid. He said he was having a bad day and he had thrown 4 people off his bus the day before. A passenger said it sounded like a prison bus. Do you know the driver drove around the block and pulled back into the station to put the passenger off for saying that. And it did sound rather bad what the driver was saying. We pay good money and not for drivers to talk to us in that manner.

The driver said many things that he should not have. I transferred on other buses and we never had any problems. Nor, did those drivers speak to us in an unfriendly tone or just plain rude tone. Some children were talking in the back of the bus and he must have thought it was a head phone. We kept telling him no one had music on, but he kept yelling to turn the phones down. He was really mistaken but he still kept yelling and telling us what was going to happen to us.

He said if a child got locked in the bathroom they would have to stay in there until we reached another layover. but the way he said it was very, very rude.

I don't ever want to ride Greyhound. I had to contend with this driver on my way to Texas then on my way back to Cleveland.

He talked to us as if he hated his job or the people on the bus.

The tickets aren't free. and if people stopped riding greyhound he would not have a job. We paid money for those tickets, we paid money to ride Greyhound in a calm atmosphere and we did not receive it. You ought to be ashamed to have such a person represent Greyhound.

Thanks.
