RE: AOL - billed for creating another screen name on master account - ongoing billing problems In June of 2002, AOL began billing me for creating another screen name on my master account (basically, doubble-billing me). So I finally notice this in November of 2002, and called them AND wrote their live-billing help, to see if I could get a complimentary few months to even out the scales. Well.... I was told I could have 2 free months and wouldn't be billed again until Jan, 2003, which, I was billed again in November, 2002 after I was told I would not be. Now, my checking account is overdrawn and I have no money to make up for the extremely high overdraft fees. I called customer service for AO(hel)L and was told too bad, sorry I am not happy with their decision, that i did NOT call them by phone in November of 2002, and I will not be credited in my checking account. I was told their charges are valid and they will not credit me because I am due no credit at this time. Then, the gracious customer service rep hung up on me after I asked him to speak to his supervisor. Now, I have to dispute this with my bank, I have no way to fix this without the bank defending me, and I have no idea who to contact in AOL to remedy this. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance,
