On 06/13/02 I returned a GE two-line business phone to Thompson Consumer Electronics as instructed by GE tech support for a manufacturing flaw. On purchasing I took the phone to another residence and did not try to use the speaker phone until I arrived for the summer in June. The phone had not been used and was well within the warranty period when I sent it to Thompson.

 

Since that time I have spent considerably more than the phone is worth in long distance telephone calls trying to get either a repaired phone or the buy-back check they kept saying they were sending.

 

Thompson Multi Media appears to be totally unconcerned about consequences regarding their actions to me, apparently believing people will give up rather than face the continuing frustration and expense of pursuing relatively small amounts of money.
