78 Seven Oaks Lane

Brewster, New York 10509-1610 January 30, 2003 Goodyear Tires Gentlemen: I would like to let you know why I will NEVER buy any Goodyear products or services, and why I will spend a great deal of my time telling others to do the same. Twice each week, I take my grandson to a Gymboree class which is in the same building as a Goodyear center on Mill Plain Road in Danbury, Connecticut. In the past, the dealer has even offered discounts to parents whose children are registered in Gymboree. Yesterday, during a snowstorm, I left my lights on in the parking lot and came out at the end of the class to a dead battery. I took my two year old grandson into the Goodyear store and explained to the manager that I had contacted my road service and they had told me that since I was parked in the lot of a car repair service, I could have them start my car, pay them and submit a bill to my road service.

The manager refused to help me. He did not even offer to allow me to wait in his warm waiting room with my grandson instead of a freezing car. I will make sure to tell each parent I see at all Gymboree classes, as well as anyone else I come into contact with that Goodyear has no heart. Thank you for your time and attention. Sincerely, Marlene E. Damo

You cannot trust this store as far as you can throw them.
