1997 F150 pickup truck - wheels rusted after 3 years - sanding and painting now ever year

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on January 22, 2003:

After3rd year every spring the wheels were so rusted i had to sand them down and paint them.After 3 yrs of this itook it to local Ford dealer.

Service manager told me to bring in picture which i did.Got a call from manager he said the Ford rep. said to many miles on truck.I dont think 50000 mi. on a 5 yr old truck is excessive.Truck looks terrible.This is my 4th and last Ford product.
