OAKWOOD HOMES 2645 W SUNSHINE SPRINGFIELD, MO. 65807

OAKWOOD HOMES/DAVE WATERSON SOLD US A MOBILE HOME WHICH WAS A REPOSESSED HOME.WE HAD 30 DAYS IN WHICH TO GET THINGS FIX THAT NEEDED REPAIRS.

 

FOR 30 DAYS WE CALLED THIS MAN WITH PROBLEMS.EVERY TIME WE CALLED ONE OF THE OTHER SALEMANS WOULD SAY I WILL HAVE MR.WATERSON CALL YOU.WE HAVE A MASTER BATHROOM WHICH IS NOW READY TO FALL THROUGH THE TRAILER. DINING LIGHT WHICH I TURNED ON SHOT FLAMES THROUGH IT.

 

A WALL SOCKET WHICH IS LOOSE AND READY TO FALL OUT AGAIN. I MYSELF CALLED MR.WATERSON ON THESE PROBLEMS AND I TALKED TO HIM ABOUT OUR 3 LITTLE CHILDREN WE HAVE IN THE HOME AND HOW DANGEROUS THIS WAS.HIS REPONSE WAS WELCOME TO OWNING YOUR HOME.ALL THESE COMPLAINTS WERE BROUGHT TO MR.WATERSON ATTENTION WITHIN OUR 30 DAYS.

 

THE INSURANCE COMPANY AJUSTER CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT THE WATER DAMAGE AND SAID IT WAS OLD DAMAGE.HE FILED A CLAIM AND WE RECEIVED A CHECK FOR 2,683 BUT IT WAS MADE OUT TO OAKWOOD ACCEPTANCE CORP. MY MOTHER-N-LAW AND MYSELF WHICH NAMES OUR ON THE LOAN.

 

THEY HAVE THE CHECK AND WILL NOT RELEASE IT UNTIL THE REPAIRS ARE MADE AND THEY HAVE SOMEONE INSPECT IT.WE DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS TO REPAIR IT.THE INSURANCE WE CALLED SAID THAT IS WHY THEY SENT US THE CHECK.THIS IS HOW WE WERE TO GET THE REPAIRS FIXED. BY THE WAY THE TRAILER IS ONLY 4 YEARS OLD.

 

I MENTIONED TO MR.WATERSON THE DANGER THE LIGHT SWITCH COULD CAUSE A SERIOUS FIRE AND IT ENDANGERS MY CHILDRENS LIVES.HE BASICALY SAID ITS YOUR PROBLEM TO FIX.NOW WE DO NOT HAVE A DINING ROOM LIGHT UNTIL WE CAN FIX IT ALSO.WE HAVE TRIED TO GET HELP BUT CANNOT FIND ANYONE WILLING TO HELP HELP.
