I purchased an AM-Comps Athelon XP 1700 a few months ago. What a piece of junk. It came with no OS, which was fine, as I've got all of them. I initally installed W2K and it ran pretty well, Then I installed WinXP, and that's when I found out how crummy this PC is.

 

Always crashes, sometimes all by itself. It could just be running and then it will eithe just Freez with the screen saver frozen and you have to manually reboot, sometimes it will just blue screen, and other times just reboot.

 

The So Called Tech Support is non existant. You go their website, and for 6 months, it's been "under construction". In other words, these guys don't exsist at all.

 

What really burns me, is for just a little more, and I mean a Little More, I could have had a Dell.
