I demand an answer.....your promise to a SIMPLE request has not been met AGAIN....
Complaints.com received the following update, to the consumer message below, on January 27, 2002:

gift card/barnes and noble COMPLAINT
I posted a complaint on the 7th of January and heard back from Barnes and Noble that day that they would send the gift card and still have not received the gift card that they promised on that day. They make failed promises and keep customers money.
This is the last straw before I have to get someone else involved. Here are the additional strings of messages. Please post on your website so everyone can see how they handle on-line purchases.
Sometimes.....obviously not with Barnes and Noble......
