Complaints.com received the following e-message on January 2, 2002:

Demars Charter Service, Fort Lauderdale - trip cancelled, don't return calls, didn't get refund I had a contract with Demars Charter Service out of Fort Lauderdale for a group arriving into South Florida September 13th. Due to the 9/11 attacks, the trip was cancelled last minute. Demars originally said they would refund for the cancelled service. Since that time, they have failed to return calls, and ultimately said there would be no refund. Their message machine identifies them as a "Christian Company". They don't act it. The groups that did travel the previous week received poor service and ancient buses to use. They advertise new buses in their yellow pages, but all their subcontracted equipment is crap. Additional details can be obtained from me. I am making it a bit of a crusade to ensure no other travel provider has the same problem with these "Christians" as I have had.
