I wish to rebut the complaint posted on January 23, 2002 regarding JJ's Pizza on Monroe in El Paso, Texas.

This may have been the case in 2002, but I have recently been to JJ's many times.

The Philly Cheese is the best I have ever tasted! The Pizza is delicious.

There is no longer a buffet, and it may have been poor at that time; however, I encourage Leo and everyone to order a delivery from JJ's, and try for yourselves.

On Sunday, Jan. 20, "02 I took my friends and theirs children to the above mentioned place for a birthday buffet. I told them I had been told this was a great place. Unfortunately- that was not my experience.

 

Maybe the person that told me this didn't finish the sentence- so I will GREAT PLACE TO STAY AWAY FROM. it was 11:15 when we entered, and upon seeing the place I said this doesn't look that great, but we went ahead anyway. Buffet was not ready.

 

Food was cold. Lousy presentation. Dirty sneeze guard.

 

Food was unedible except for the garlic toast which was manageable. Food service workers outfits were dirty, no hairnets, no sanitary gloves. Plasticware was dirty. Floor was dirty. After all this we still decided to wait for the pizza which was not ready- when it finally was ready- it was the most awful pizza I have ever tasted.

 

Pizza sauce was setting out in open container on a dirty table. When I approached management to complain, manager was quite disorganized dealing with another customer complaint on the phone, there was about a 10 minute wait to lodge my complaint, received no response. I was approached by a very unprofessional individual who insisted that I had to pay for everything-he did not check matters out- (whoever he was) On a scale of 1-10 this experience was a minus -0

 

In conclusion- while we were there- no one else came in for this awful buffet--I would say that our bad experience in this place was not a unique one.
