1995 Chrysler, New Yorker - damaged during automobile accident

I felt safe in my automobile; should I become involved in an accident I would be protected in the impact. On Saturday, December 29, 2001 @ 6:55 p.m. my attitude significantly changed.

As I tried to cross the intersection of Churchland Blvd. & Tyre Neck Road, in Portsmouth, Va. an elderly gentleman ran a red light and hit my car in the front left qtr. panel and subsequently dragged my car to the right and around the corner onto Tyre Neck Road.

The hood, front left bumper, grill and right qtr. panel are crumpled. The a.b.s. never opened. I just want someone to know that Chrysler autos or I should say, my Chrysler was a major disappointment to me.

As I write, my car has not been officially evaluated by an adjuster; however two mechanics have looked @ the car and stated the chassis appears to be bent as a result of the impact. My desire is to share this information w/someone, hopefully the Chrysler Corporation regarding my dissatisfaction. Mrs. Mary G. Ragin
