I bought a car, Chrysler- Grand Voyager Limited Edition from BUGA US Cars in Antwerpen, Belgium on the 30th August, 2001, bearing registration number DTQ-195. I was in Holland at Roosendaal on the 23rd December, 2001 and while returning from there, my car suddenly stopped on the road to Antwerpen, about 3 km from my friend’s place. I duly phoned up Chrysler Privilage Club and the car was towed and I also got a replacement car to drive.

I have been, since then, in reguklar touch with the Antwerp Dealership personnel regarding repairs to my car car but they have been informing me that the fault is still undetected, despite the fact that Chrysler Service personnel are themselves involved now for a number of days. Chrysler, Belgium has not been able to give any satisfactory reply to me so far. Some basic questions do come to my mind regarding this incident; a) The car was running alright till it stopped without any warning. What is wrong??? I thought that it must be some security system that came into play and stopped the car. Apparently, it is much more than that as even Chrysler technical team is unable to find it after close to a month. b) How do I trust a car that stops just like that without reason??? Is this normal??? What happens next??? c) How do I ask my family to join me in travelling by this car when they have lost their complete faith in it??? They are scared of sitting in the car as and when and if it ever comes back, lest it stops again at some vague place. d) At least this happened when the car is still under warranty. What will happen if the same thing repeats after the warrantee has run out??? Will Chrysler guarantee a trouble free running during the life of the vehicle??? My problem is I do not know what to do??? The Chrysler people do not know what to do with the car??? Here I am, stuck in the middle and suffering... WHY I BOUGHT A CHRYSLER???
