First Premier Bank Card - experience with missing payment

 

I have a First Premier Bank Master Card, with a 400.00 limit. I had missed Dec. payment, totally forgot. They charged me 29.00 late fee then due to that caused an over the limit charge of 29.00. So a 20.00 a month charge will cost me 100.00. I feel that is a little much.

 

I have never been late before with them. Now that will cost me more finance charges, sense it is more on my card.

 

I explain that yes I missed Dec. and can understand the late fee, but the over limit fee is not right I would think due to the late fee is what caused it to be over the limit. Things are always tough after the holidays, and this certainly doesn't help. They were really cold about helping me.

 

Do I have a leg to stand on? Thanks for letting me beef.
