I decided to shop at Bassett Furniture Direct thinking I was buying quality merchandise. Shortly after receiving custom made couches, I soon realized they were not the quality that I paid for. I experience 2 problems with the purchase.

The first was a squeaking sound when anyone sat down of the sofas. The second problem was the quick realization that the fabric on the expensive couches was simply cheap. I have owned 2 other sets of furniture and neither collected the short hairs from my Boxer.

My parents 2 sofas did not collect the hairs either (we stayed with them for 4 months while waiting for our 2 home to be finished). Bassett replied stating that all their fabrics are good quality and are tested. Well this fabric is NOT good quality and should never be put on a sofa. The manager of the store made this response about the fabric without even looking at the sample that he had on the showroom floor. I've owned my sofa for 2 months and it looks and sounds years old. Save yourself some time, money and frustration. Shop at a furniture store that will stand behind their merchandise. Jill Savage Las Vegas, Nevada

good afternoon, hopfully someone there can help me, I have a sectional sofa and one of the recliners handle has broken it is in the middle of the sofa and the wire broke from the handle that you pull straight up, I think it is called a parachute handle, so my question is can I purchase 1 or 2 of them and have it shipped direct to me, please respond, clinton schmidt
