Aerial / VoiceStream - 'weekend minutes' are per month, not per weekend, higher billing

I had originally purchased service through Aerial Communications for $19.99 a month, a phone, and 75 minutes per month, with the billing date starting/ending on the 6th of every month. After a month or so, they were bought by VoiceStream.

Eventually, I saw a commercial on television advertising something about more weekend minutes.

I called Aerial/Voicestream and asked them if my plan automatically updated to that as it was the same. They said, no, but for no additional charge, they could give me 200 more weekend minutes.I asked if they refreshed to 200 every weekend, or if it was 200 weekend minutes per month. They claimed it was refreshed every weekend.

At this point, I was informed that my billing cycle started on the 8th of the month. I found this odd, but continued using the service.

Then one month I received a bill for roughly $65. I called and asked why was I billed so much. They said I had gone over my monthly 75. (Well, duh. I was *supposedly* given an extra 200 per weekend, and I made use of them.)

They then told me that my weekend minutes were PER MONTH. They also told me my billing date started on the 4th of each month!

By the time everything was said and done, I should have owed roughly $100-120. By the end, I was charged $260.

This company is shi*. They should be put out of business. I feel sorry for the lady who promotes their service.
