Re: Trans Canada Credit, Specifically, YES Plan (subsidiary of TCC).

Etobicoke Ontario Canada. Received final bill in the mail for lease account, with amount due as $1429.48. Went to office to pay off account and secretary indicated that amount due was $1650 (approx). Could not provide explanation---and put me on phone with another employee of TCC. She said it was the taxes, but this amount did not comply with amount I calculated.

Went home and called TCC---requested faxed run-down of all payments made to account and amount owing. Amount owing indicates $1429.48.

Received another bill that month indicating this amount. In February, received third final bill from TCC with amount owing as $1466.99 (overdue interest amounts added). Sent this amount (in cheque) to company. It was returned to me one week later with a letter telling me that amount due was now $1968.96.

Apparently they failed to indicate taxes, and some Termination Admin fee of $250 (plus taxes) in the final bills sent to me. The dealer that I bought the car from told me that the Term Admin Fee was if I terminated the lease contract prior to its expiration in Jan 2003.

Please help me. They sent me another letter saying that the amount is accumulating at $1.21 per day. Told me they wouldnt cash the cheque because I wrote Final payment in the memo Line. This is BS....that holds no bearing on the validity of the cheque.

Please help.
