RE: Quantity Telecom - unauthorized charges to debit Mastercard account I have yet another complaint to register with you. A company called "Quantity Telecom" (tel: 1-800-385-1968) has been unlawfully deducting $59.78 monthly from my debit account since October 2002, supposedly for long distance calls. I do not even make regular long distance calls on my own telephone to cut on costs. I have just gotten to know of it yesterday since I started to monitor my account closely because of recently other such experiences.
After calling and speaking to a certain Jessica there, she immediately offered to refund deductions for January and February, 2003, and I have yet to call her after 48hrs about the other three previous deductions to request for a refund i.e. October, November, December 2002!
I do not know who "Quality Telecom is, I have not authorized any transaction with them, I do not even wish to have anything to do with them! How they acquired my banking details, the devil alone knows! Could you please help me and also provide me with the webside that protects consumers from telemarketers because this is just frightening!
