Gillette took a great product, the Good News razor, and redesigned into an abrasive, irritating mess that now cannot compete with even the Bic. Pen. A terrible episode in the history of technology and a real indicator that civilization has begun to deteriorate.
Please fire those responsible, because stupidity affects all decisions, and they will strike again. Please bring back the original Good News razor. The real original, no lotion strips, no round handle, just the one that worked. Why oh why would you change something that worked so well??

The pivot head and the slimey white strip are just a deterrent to a good shave. Gillette needs to bring back the original Good News 2 blade razor. It was the best shaving product ever invented. Hay Gillette, a razor is like a windshield wiper blade - once you have a good one you just don't need to try to improve it. I am currently biding on a pot load of original Good News razors on Ebay. I couldn't believe that the stores quit carrying the original no nonsense Good News razors. I agree 100% with the complaint. All the new expensive so-called "upgrades" are just a marketing gimmick. Why change something that works very well??? Answer: greed. Add new stuff so the stupid consumer thinks they're being better served. Not so this time. Bring back the original, non sicky/gooie, non movable head, straight twin blade reliable and sharp razor! Remember what happened to Coke when they tried to re-invent/improve their product?
