RE: Silkies pantyhose - HCI Direct - received and billed for unwanted and unordered pantyhose - received letter from RMCB collection agency

To Silkies and HCI Direct c/o complaints.com: During the latter part of 2002, I received a package of 3 Silkies pantyhose along with a bill. I did not request this product and do not consider this bill valid . In fact, as I have seen from the number of complaints against HCI Direct on the Internet this scam has been perpetrated against quite a number of people. Recently, my bill was even forwarded to a collection company (RMCB) who I hold equally responsible for the perpetration of this fraudulent scheme. At this time I want any and all accounts that have been assigned to me to be closed. In addition, I want my personal information removed from your records - including your mailing list. For your reference the account number that HCI Direct assigned to me is #1005486191#. If you expect the unsolicited product to be returned, then I will require a copy of the original request validating this transaction. If I do not receive such proof within the reasonable timeframe of 7 business days, the unsolicited product will be thrown away. In addition, I demand that you immediately notify your collection agency (RMCB) that my account has been closed and that there is no balance outstanding. I also expect to receive from HCI Direct and/or Silkies a reply to this email indicating that all of my concerns have been addressed. If I do not receive a confirmation by March 15, 2003, I will inform my local Better Business Bureau and Post Master of the mail fraud in which your company appears to be engaged. complaints.com: Please send this complaint on to Email User and post it to your database.
