RE: Car Insurance in the UK - expensive for young drivers

Why is car insurance high for young drivers when it's mainly old people who cause the accidents. My car insurance is costing double almost triple the value of the car. They have clocked on to the high cost of phone bills and the cost of holidays in the summer, so it's about time they did something about motor insurance. Many thanks
