AOL Credit Alert - unauthorized charges to checking account by AOL credit alert

Complaints.com received the following consumer message on February 24, 2003:

RE: AOL Credit Alert - unauthorized charges to checking account by AOL credit alert

My complaint is that AOL Credit Alert have charged me twice especially after me calling from my account. And causing my account to go negative and I have to pay a charge for that. I really don't like that because you got my acount number from AOL without my permission.

Thats against the law. You have screwed up my account for 2 months. I will be calling to speak to a manager and not one of those tech that don't understand anything. Lynn
