RE: Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Company - trouble with refinancing two homes in Maryland - upset with service received

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Company, 3476 State Blvd., MACX 7801-01X, Fort Mill SC. 29715 was the company I went to for refinancing of my two homes in the month of September 2002. They were to finance the home located at 10700 Tatum Court, Largo, Maryland which they foregot to do an appraisal and second 1205 Daventry Court, Bowie, Maryland. They day of settlement I was called by the a person processing the loan one hour before and told I need $3, 000 dollars when we come to the table. My wife and I had taken off work for refining but did not go because someone dropped the ball.

About two or three weeks later we took off work again to go back to settlement but there was still another error. I told them I wanted to take $20, 000 dollars from the home equity located 10700 Tatum Court, Largo, Maryland. The paper work had only $15, 000 dollars, and now the time has come for me to make my mind up not to go along with this financing. So I called the deal off in December 2002. Mr. Richard Kepler and Phil Nicosia were the two individual who I spoke with during my transactions.

We signed no papers and no settle deal was transacted during this time. The middle of February I received a statement from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Company stating I was $4, 000 dollars behind on a $232,000 loan. I never refinanced 1205 Daventry Court, Bowie, Maryland with this company, it is with Bank of America. I called Mr Kepler about the issues I was having with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Company. He said "Are they still making errors", I told him that this is too many errors and someone need to do something about it. He also said think you for informing me of the problem and he will take care of it.

This is 24 February 2003, I receive a call from another finance company which I choose to finance my house stating that this loan for $232, 000 dollars is on my credit report and it is outstanding. She said she had spoken with a person working for Wells Fargo Mortgage Comany stating that they made a mistake and would send her a copy of the error. This error has held my loan up and interest rates I had for 45 days has canceled because the Wells Fargo employee did not send the paper work out on time. I think this is bad bussiness and should not be provided by any company. This is the RE: Loan Number 01246ggggg

Thank you for your help

Wells Fargo recently foreclosed on our home. I am disabled and became very ill. My husband lost his job because he was trying to take care of me and our three boys. We informed Wells Fargo as soon as we started to have problems. They sent us a pamphlet with options. They told us in a phone call however, that they did not participate with any of the options offered. We tried everything and there were many options they had and could have done. They refused and now we have no home and are being evicted. We wanted to try to buy our home back but even the Lawyer they have evicting us is as crooked as they are. Wells Fargo has caused my family to become homeless. They refused to help us during a temporary problem although they could have very easily. We did not even sign with them initially, they bought our mortgage from the original company we signd with. And to think Fannie Mae who boasts of helping families uses them as a servicer. I know we are not the only ones facing this problem with them. Its sad just to sad.....
