2checkout.com - purchased online advertising then asked for refund - was told money was already refunded, but didn't receive refund
Complaints.com received the following consumer message on February 21, 2003:

I bought some online advertising through this company.
Asked for a refund. Was told they had a no refund policy which was posted nowhere on the site that I made my purchase from. (Which is required to be posted if selling to Californians, by California law, or a full refund is expected to be given in full.)
Filed a dispute against them with my credit card company.
My credit card company informed me that 2checkout.com refused to do a chargeback to even begin disputing the purchase.
I sent an email to 2checkout.com and received a response that they had already refunded my money. I contacted my bank about this and was informed it was complete nosense, that 2checkout.com had refunded nothing.
So I have to believe my bank as they provided me in writing the dates of contact with 2checkout.com and the conclusions of each conversation.
I filed a complaint against 2checkout.com with the BBB.org and still await the conclusion of the dispute.

No matter how defective something you buy is, they will not refund your money. The experience I had with them was worse than anything I could imagine. They basically robbed me.
