Complaints.com received the following consumer message on February 1, 2003:

I file in 2 states, NY& NJ.I therefore bought 2 state packages. I did not need 2 packages as I found out later. I loaded the federal and then loaded the 1st state. I tried to load the second state with the 2 nd state cd. It would not. I searched eveywhere incuding the web to find a telephone number for turbo tax in order to get help from a live person.

 

There is no such number. I gave up and used the my 1st state cd to enter the 2nd state and paid an extra $30.00 over the telephone, of course not to a live person but to a machine. I tried to return the 2nd state and the store would not refund on an open pkg. The state box, in very small letters, spells out that you only use one cd for multiple states.

 

Naturally I did not read the small print before I tried to install the programs. The box further says that if you are dissatisfied you may return the product for a refund. Naturarally there is no address as well as no telephone number. Now I'm out $30.00 and no one at Turbo Tax to talk to. C. Hulse

I too need program help from TurboTax. I have send emailS without reply. How can I talk to a live customer service rep?

I, too, have used TurboTax for many years!!!!I agree with you 100% about your trying to get in touch with a warm body. I have searched and searched for a telephone number. I sent an E-mail two days ago, and still I have not received an answer. I wonder what the problem is.

In years past, I did not experience any problems of this nature.

I tried communicating with the "Tina" the computer and was told my question was to long.

What is a person to do when they have questions? Should you find out, would you please ADVISE!

I made an error on a withholding and it makes the refund way out of bounds. When I tried to correct this error the program would not let me correct the error. No person is available to talk to. The only alternative is to call my credit card company and disavow this bill being paid. Therefore cancel this transaction. Please verify this has been done.
